MS Outlook Express - Email Setup Guide
Step 1
- Open Outlook Express
- Go to ‘Tools’ then ‘Accounts’

- Go to ‘Tools’ then ‘Accounts’

- Click ‘Add’ then select ‘Mail’
Step 5
- Enter your display name, click ‘Next’
- Enter your email address, click next.
Step 6
- Ensure POP3 is selected in the server option
- Enter the incoming and outgoing mail servers as shown, click ‘next’
Step 7
- Enter your ‘Account name’ and ‘Password’. Your account name here is actually your username.
- Check the ‘Remember password’ option, click ‘Next’
- Click ‘Finish’

- You will be brought back to the following page
- Make sure the email address is highlighted, then select ‘Properties’

- Check to see all the information is correct
- Check the option ‘My server requires authentication’.
- Once you select this option, the ‘Settings’ button will highlight up.
- Click ‘Settings’
Step 11
- Ensure the ‘Use same settings as my incoming mail server’ is checked
- Click ‘OK’
Step 12
You are now ready to use Outlook Express.
