MS Outlook 2003 - Email Setup Guide
Step 1
- Open MS Outlook 2003
- Go to ‘Tools’ > ‘Email Accounts’

- Enter all the necessary details to configure your email account
- Once finished, click ‘More Settings’
*Please note that the ‘User Name’ for email can be the email address or just the username

Configure your server settings
- Select ‘Outgoing Server’ Tab
Step 5
Once selected, you will now have the option of configuring authentication for your outgoing (SMTP) server. This is relevant when sending emails.
- Select ‘My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication’
Make sure that ‘Use same settings as my incoming mail server’ is selected
You will be brought back to the settings page.
- Click ‘Finish’ to complete the set up
